How to stop morning sickness is going to be different for every person. Each women experiences symptoms differently and the triggers for nausea are also different so the real key is to find what works for you.

If you are vomiting more than 3 times a day, if you are vomiting blood, if you are not able to keep any food or liquids down, or if you are not gaining any weight or have lost weight you should consult your doctor immediately. There my be something else going on or you may need to be more closely monitored.

How To Stop Morning Sickness

Tip #1: Ask your doctor about vitamin B6. It has proven to help many women with their nausea. Usually the dosage is about 25 milligrams 3 times a day but make sure that your doctor advises you based on your weight, health, etc. Some women also find that combining B6 with ginger can increase the effectiveness.

Tip #2: Adjust your diet to include foods that are low fat and high in carbohydrates. Add more fruit to your diet and eliminate sweets, caffeine, and fried or greasy foods.

Tip #3: Find a toothpaste that doesn't make you nauseous. Try to find something with peppermint flavor which can help with nausea.

Tip #4: Minimize your stress. Let your husband or partner take on some extra duties during this time. Try to take cat naps throughout the day and get more sleep at night.

Tip#5: Try Acupressure. There have been studies that have shown that acupressure can greatly improve morning sickness and in many cases stop it all together.
